France Pavilion Milan Expo 2015 - 1st
The original building:
France Pavilion in Milan Expo is kind of like a waffle model, based on France's landscape. The reason why I choose this building for model making is, making a waffle model is what I want to do in this course, and the concept of France Pavilion is really worth to think about, and I want to learn their thinking process in the further study and work. For this model, the most difficult part is makeing the digital model, and finding out each pieces during the model making process How to make the digital model of it will introduce in the document.

Xian Living House - 2nd
The original building:
Xian Living House is a concept model. The point of this design is the moveable panels at the inside of this house. This is my first time to use 3D Print to make a part of physical model. The difficult part is the scale for 3D print. The thickness of those panels is 2mm and there is a hole at the bottom of those panel. Also because of the range of error, that makes the 3D print part more and more difficult to control. More detail information will show in the document.

Vijayawada Garden Estate Apartment is also a concept model. For this building, the main concept of this building is the flexible facade and some moveable walls. Residents can decide the inside space, but technically it hard to achieve in the reality (engineering aspects.) So this model will only show the flexible facade for presenting its concept. For this model, the diffcult part is to figure out how to fix those moveable boards. After the discussion with tutors, the fixed setting looks like the image showing. Meanwhile, because of the scale of the fixed setting, I choose 3D print to make it, but it still has some small errors during the process of model making. More detail information will show in the further document.
